Reports to: Executive Producer
Location: San Diego
Part-time to start with opportunity to move to full-time.
Opportunity to work on interesting and meaningful projects.
Opportunity to learn the film/video business from the inside out.
Centrally located near Old Town, Liberty Station and Point Loma
Manages all projects on-quality, on-time and on-budget
Facilitate communication with client regarding reviews, schedules, scripts, creative, etc.
Monitors project budgets and schedules daily
Manages tactical quality of all client deliverables (proofreading, digital requirements)
Accountable for staying within agreed upon budget and informing all parties of any changes to scope/assumptions/issues that arise
Facilitate casting with agents, actors and client
Responsible for correctly filled time cards for production personnel
Secure permits and location agreements
Manages and updates project schedules
Identifies and proactively resolves any deliverables that might fall behind schedule
Catches scope creep
Qualifications & Education
Bachelor’s degree in related field
2-5 years’ experience related work/internship experience
Multi-tasker, detail-oriented and organized
Ability to effectively communicate across the organization
Self-motivated and enthusiastic
Previous experience in video a big plus
Thrives in a collaborative environment but can also work autonomously
Ability to multi-task with great attention to detail and under pressure
